Oh, yeah...this blog still exists...um...

I've been really active on Polyvore lately, so if you want to check out my profile, there's a lot of stuff going on there.  There just hasn't been much to blog about lately.  End of school, obviously, but that doesn't really go with the theme of this blog.  Literally I've been wearing jeans or shorts and t-shirts, and makeup has been a little neutral eyeshadow and mascara.

I'm just so past the point of caring anymore, because summer is coming!!  And during the summer, I don't wear much makeup in case we go to the pool, and besides, nobody likes to sweat their makeup off.

So hopefully this meager polyvore set will suffice for my absence.

Spring Fashion Lookbook

Hello!!  So I'm so super excited for this post, because I actually made a video on what I wear during the springtime!!!  Hopefully you like it as much as I liked making it!!

NOTE: The music is very loud and the voiceover is very soft.  I'm still working out how to use voiceover and stuff, so sorry about that.

OOTD 2.28.13

Hey!  The weather has been really nice this week, so I've been wearing a lot more "springtime-y" outfits haha :D  Yesterday I even wore a crop top and shorts!  So today I have pictures of my outfit, which I absolutely LOVE LOVE LOVE, I will definitely be wearing this a lot in the coming months!

OK, there are no words for how much I adore this outfit!!  

Here's kind of a full view

My adorable bicycle shirt is from Anthropologie, I got it for my birthday!

I tucked my shirt into some light-wash denim shorts from Justice and added a belt I snatched out of my dad's closet, haha

And of course, I wore my Vans.  What else?

Here's the shirt, shorts and belt again.

And for hair I just fishtail braided my hair and pulled it apart with my fingers to make it bigger and messier!

Revamped

Yesterday I revamped an old, boring crop top with this cool crochet detail :)  Tutorial here!

It was really fun and easy, I'll probably be wearing it a lot once it warms up.

New Year New You

Holiday Looks

I know this is really late, but I decided to post the makeup and outfit I wore for Christmas and New Year's Eve.  Hope you enjoy!

First, Christmas Eve makeup and outfit!

For Christmas Eve, since we did everything in the afternoon, I pretty much did my regular day makeup, just with thicker eyeliner.  I also used a shimmery gray instead of matte, like I usually do.

I also wore lipgloss, but I can't remember which one I used.

Straightened my hair and wore my rune necklace from Felicity McCarthy

Whee outfit of the holiday! (OOTH? Hehe)  Tank top from Justice, shrug from McCaulou's, skirt is a hand-me-down also from Justice I believe.

The lovely hair bow was given to me by my friend Mallorie! <3

Next is New Year's eve, sorry I don't have outfit pictures, I literally wore a cute shirt and jeans with some jewelry, nothing too special.

I wasn't sure how the makeup looked in different lighting, so first is daylight, next is low inside light.  I used light, shimmery gray on the lid, charcoal in the crease, liquid liner and black mascara, and on the lower lash line I traced a little purple eyeshadow so it would be more fun, instead of all serious and smokey!  

I also used a Lancome lipgloss that was given to me by our friends in LA.   I can't remember the shade, it was glimmer something I think :)

New Blog?!

Hey there sparkly cupcake dragons :D

I have some news!

Next year I will be in high school and I want to start fresh in the blogging world.  This means that I am making a new blog!  It's gonna be about everything.  You might know that I currently have two blogs, one about school & life (Misadventures) and one about beauty & craziness (this one!)  My new blog will be about all that.

It is not yet open to the public, but it has tabs for different things:

OK, I'm just too excited about a blog that isn't even ready yet.  This is just the beginning.  *New Blog* is under construction still.  Hard hats required.

Since *New Blog* has all these cool tabs, it means that I am going to stop posting on Addicted to Glitter around the end of the school year (May).  But I created the cool tabs so you don't have to miss out on all my crazy beauty obsessions :D  Once the new blog is ready, I'll link it so you can follow me there.

Ooh, here we go!  Looking around the backyard for monsters.  Took this so you could see the back of the shirt, which is sheer and has little hearts on it.

I'm wearing lipgloss, can you tell?  I dunno the brand, this guy I liked gave it to me in second grade.  It's almost out but way better than any of my other glosses.  You never know with boys...

Eye makeup entirely from Bare Escentuals.  Eyeshadow: "Nude Beach", Eyeliner: "Tiger's Eye", Mascara: "Espresso"

Did these cool-beans braids by doing a normal braid and pulling it apart as much as I could short of them falling apart.  I also braided my bangs and pinned them up, but don't have a pic of it.

So you like?  I'm back to posting like a normal person now :)

so tired.

Oh my gosh guys I am so tired...cuz last night I was babysitting till 10:30.  AnyhowI got these super comfortable velour pants at Target this morning and have been freaking in love with them so I thought I'd show you.  Here are some pics of my OOTD :D
