Top 10 . . . Time?: Songs ♫

Hallo!  These are my top 10 favorite songs!  Gonna just jump in I guess!  All links to the songs will be listed at the end.

10. Lights, Ellie Goulding. It's cute, catchy, clean.  All of these songs are clean, cause I don't like songs with swearing or bad themes.  Not my favorite of all of them, but fun to listen to!

9. Brighter than the Sun, Colbie Callait cover, Tiffany Alvord. Why the cover?  Tiffany does an amazing job on this song.  It is great!  You should listen to it!

8. Backseat/Till the World Ends/Where Dem Girls At?/Blow Mashup, Cimorelli. If you've never heard of Cimorelli, go and search youtube NOW.  They do the most amazing covers!  They are 6 sisters: Christina, Katherine, Lisa, Amy, Lauren, and Dani.  Love love love this mashup that they did!  Got stuck in my head forever!

7. Break Your Heart, Taio Cruz. Oh my goodness, this song got so stuck in my head!  This is my favorite song to play with my friend when we are doing makeup together (along with So What by Pink and Hey Soul Sister by Train)!

6. Cowboy Casanova, Carrie Underwood. Ahh love Carrie Underwood!  All of her music is great, but this one is just...awesome!!

5. Stronger, Mandisa. This song is so encouraging, especially when I'm down and even when I'm not.  It makes me feel happy :)

4. Stole My Heart, One Direction. This is my favorite of the whole 1D Album, hands down.  Runner up is Everything About You.  It's so much fun to dance to!!

3. As Long As You Love Me, Justin Bieber. This song is soooo catchy.  And so fun!  I officially like JB now that he sounds like a guy haha!  Not obsessed, but he's not bad.

2. Chasing the Sun, The Wanted. You kidding me?  This is THE PERFECT theme song to The Throne of Fire by Rick Riordan!  That's how it caught my attention in the first place, and now it's my second favorite.

1. Maria, Justin Bieber. First time in history that a Bieber song has both won the top spot in a favorite position, and that Justin has appeared TWICE in something that involves something being my favorite thing!!  Good for him!  Hahahahaha!  This is by far my most favorite of all these songs because it's catchy, an earworm (gets stuck in my head), fun to listen to, and based on a real thing!  He wrote it because of his feelings on the Mariah Yeater thing, but he named it Maria so she couldn't sue him.  Purty Smart.

Beneath the Glitter?!?!

Hey all!  So I know I said I wouldn't be posting, but I decided to.  If you want to see more about my VBS adventures, check out my other blog in the next week or so!  Today I'm going to be talking about Beneath the Glitter, the new book by Elle and Blair Fowler!!!  Elle did a reading of the prologue on her vlog channel, and it sounds really awesome...it is definitely on my preorder list (along with The Mark of Athena, by Rick Riordan and some others)!  It comes out on September 4th.  Here is the official synopsis courtesy of Barnes and Noble:

Gonna Be Busy

Hey guys!  I just wanted to quickly say that I will probably not be posting on either of my blogs in the coming two weeks much, because I will first be on vacation this weekend and then working at my church's VBS!  So a little heads-up, I have been super busy this month and have not been on the computer much.  I love love love you all!!

Top 10 Tuesday: Snacks

This week's Top 10 Tuesday is about my favorite snacks...which is totally probably weird, but I was out of ideas!  These are mostly snacks I eat during the summer, because I can't even think about hot food when it's 90º outside!! :D

10. CCCM. Chocolate Chips, Cheerios, Marshmallows.  This is a staple snack in our family, and I like it but sometimes, especially during the summer, I end up just taking the Cheerios :)  I don't know why, but I'm always trying to be healthier during the summer.

9. Cereal. I don't even put milk in it, just Rice Krispies or Cheerios (see above) or Crispix or whatever is in the house.  WARNING: If you think these are weird, just wait.

8. Cookies/Brownies.  OK, I know I just said how I like to be more health conscious especially during the summer, but if we have cookies or brownies in the house, forget that, that's what I'm gonna go for!  They're just sooooo gooood....

7. Raspberries/Blueberries.  I love fruit.  Love, love, love it so much!!  Raspberries and blueberries are really awesome, but I don't reach for them as much because they can be, I guess temperamental?  I don't know, sometimes blueberries can be sour or raspberries can be squishy and gross.  But when they're ripe and perfect, I totally love them!

6. Bagels.  Is this weird?  Sometimes I'll just have half a bagel and some cream cheese.  It's good...

5. Nectarines.  I don't like fuzzy fruits, they feel so weird in my mouth.  So I don't like peaches, but I do like nectarines!  So I eat whole nectarines a lot.  Had one for lunch actually.  Yum.

4. Strawberries.  I love strawberries, they are my second-favorite summer fruit.  Anyone in my family knows that strawberries and me are basically the same thing...most are sweet, but sometimes they can be a little tart too.  I really like strawberry lemonade, too.

3. Bread.  My mom bakes her own bread, so I'll eat any bread she has in the house :)  But I also will just eat store bread, or toast it and smear on some avocado (if we have any) and sprinkle it with salt and pepper.  I also eat avocado toast for breakfast or lunch, it's very, cross-mealtime I guess.  But bread is just so good...I know you have to think I'm crazy, but if you've had my mom's bread you would get it!!  Promise!!

2. Smoothies.  My friend and I made smoothies yesterday.  What I love about smoothies are that it's a drink, but it's fruit and goodness, and actually kinda fills you up.  Yesterday's smoothies were a combination of strawberries, blueberries, milk, ice, and vanilla and blueberry yogurts.  Ooh man it was good.

1. Watermelon!  Yes, watermelon is my number one favorite snack!  I could eat watermelon cubes all day.  Cannot say enough good things about it!  Don't even get me started. :D

Boat parties seem like fun.  And this dress would be perfect!  Today is fashion Friday, kind of, because I will be gone tomorrow at a waterpark :)  Hence the boat post!!

Happy Fourth!!

Happy Fourth of July fellow Americans!!  Today I'm just posting pictures of my OOTD and NOTD because our family hasn't come yet.  I will post other pictures (if we take any really) on my other blog, which is more about my life, not random craziness hehe :)

Here we go...

Sally Hansen Nail Stickers in Love Letter.  I got these for my birthday awhile ago, they are really cute!!  I wrapped the tips under for extra protection, even though the instructions didn't say to. I want these to definitely last!!

This is my actual outfit.  I'm wearing a white tank top from Forever21, a vintage belt (my mom's), denim shorts from Target, and my hair just loose, though I might french braid it later.  For my makeup (not shown) I dusted some loose white-gold eyeshadow over my lids, lined my eyes with an e.l.f. eyeliner (only $1 at Target!!) and swiped on some black mascara.
